Trinity River Day Trips
1/2 Day & 1 Day, Class III, April-Oct.
Our
day trips are ideal for those vacationing
on a budget, or with limited playtime. No experience is necessary,
but a willingness to learn and enjoy is required. These guided tours
start near the North Fork confluence and continue downstream, six
miles to Big Flat. Along the
way, you and your guide will face rapids, holes, drops and narrow
channels with names like Fish Tail, Hell Hole, Zig-Zag and the Slot.
This is a good trip for the first-time whitewater adventurer or
for the hard core river runner. 1 Day trips offer the choice of
running the big rapids a second time or rafting a longer run.

Lower
Klamath
1/2, 1, 2, 3 & 5 Day, Class II-IV, Mar-Nov.
In this remote Northwest corner of California,
the land of Sasquatch, the mighty Klamath River carves
its way to the sea. You can sense the presence of nature's hand
as we paddle through the lush evergreen forest and water carved
canyons on this ancient Native American highway.
Rattle Snake, Dragon's Tooth and The Devil's Toenail are a few of
the "big drops" that challenge us on our journey downstream.
Listen to the guides as they fill you in on the rich natural and
cultural history of the river and explain many of the wonders we
encounter on our journey. In the calms between rapids, we will likely
see some of the abundant wildlife the Klamath area is famous for.
Otter, beaver, mink, bear, elk and over a hundred species of common
and rare birds live in and along the river. Our guides will further
add to your enjoyment by preparing some of the best outdoor meals
you'll ever eat. The Klamath River, the second largest in California,
has over a dozen different runs, and offers something for every
skill level.

Wilderness, the crystal clear water of the Cal Salmon tumble over
a series of drops, falls and boulders that demand the best from
raft crews. Many will find it hard not to be distracted by the incredible
beauty of the river and the canyon it flows through. Come with us
and together, amidst roaring rapids, water sculpted rock and fir
covered canyons, we will experience whitewater at its best. There
are a half-dozen thrilling runs on the Cal Salmon, depending on
river conditions and your experience. Participants must be healthy.

Fork Eel River
Full Day , Class I-II, Nov.-May

you discover the truly scenic alternative for viewing the Redwoods.
Join us for a mild float though one of the most spectacularly beautiful
places in the world, Humboldt's famous Redwood Forest.
Upper
Eel River
4 Day wilderness, Class I-III, March-June
As night is different from day, the upper
stretches of the Eel differ from the lower sections. Our 4 day trips
are conducted on the hauntingly beautiful Dos Rios to Alder Point
run. Come view railroad ghost towns, and explore deserted river
canyons. This part of the Eel river flows though a large remnant
of California's once vast Old Oak Savanna. It's remoteness and ruggedness'
make it one of the seldom seen treasures of the North Coast.
